Top 5 Instrumental Wedding Music Choices

Aside from the music that you will have at your reception as the party gets under way for your wedding, you will also need to have some instrumental music planned for your ceremony walk down the aisle. Instrumental wedding music can also be used for your reception entrance music and for your first dance if you so desire. Here are 5 of the most popular options.

1. The Classical Masters. These are composers from many years ago like Beethoven, Bach, Handel, Tchaikovsky, Chopin and Verdi. They have composed elegant, wonderful music that is romantic and perfect for weddings.

2. Love song classics. Instead of dancing to a sung version of your favorite song, let your love shine through by dancing to an instrumental version of it. Something with gorgeous music like the theme song from Love Story or a contemporary twist on My Heart Will Go On from Titanic can all be wonderful for your wedding.

3. An instrumental choice for your wedding may be strange for some people as nowadays most people want to party all night long. If you are having a morning or afternoon wedding, however, you can have soft background music for when the guests arrive and during your reception lunch.

4. Light jazz or lounge music will add just the right atmosphere for a Cuban style wedding reception. A sensual rumba or salsa can be played and to make the evening more enjoyable you can have professional dancers there to show you a few of the cool moves.

5. Another instrumental wedding music choice is a funkier one. This is that of dance music. For a younger crowd this will get everyone dancing to create a more nightclub type venue. You can also use trans music and certain types of house music. Just be sure to include some other styles to ensure that everyone of every age has fun.

Wedding Unity Ceremony

Celebrate your union with a wedding unity ceremony, because it will be an appropriate way to include and welcome children into the new family being formed. It stresses the importance of a child and his cooperation in the unity of a new family.

There are 3 versions of celebrating wedding unity ceremony, the first one is called the Rose Unity Ceremony, the second is the Candle Unity Ceremony and the third one is Sand Unity Ceremony.

In a candle unity ceremony, both the bride and the groom will light 3 candles symbolizing the bond shared by a wife and a husband. Bride followed by the groom lights each other's candles. Then the couple will light the third candle together, that symbolizes their eternal unity

Such a ceremony may be planned at any indoor place of your choice (breeze will not cooperate with candle unity ceremonies so they should be planned indoors).

In Rose Unity Ceremony, a rose that symbolizes love is the given by the bride to the groom and by the groom to his bride. This ceremony is placed at the end of a wedding ceremony usually, after the couple being pronounced as husband and wife. The Rose Unity Ceremony gives a special identity to the new and most honored husband and wife.

A single rose is always given away to convey several things such as 'I Love You', 'I am Sorry', or 'You are My Love', etc. If there are children who would be included into the new family, they may be given a rose and a kiss by the newlywed couple. This sends a message to the children that their union will bind the whole new family with love. This ceremony can be planned indoors or outdoors.

In a Sand Unity Ceremony, sand is used to symbolize the unity of the bride and groom. Two vials of sand are taken from under the feet of the wedded couple (if the ceremony happens on a beach). After the exchange of rings, the bride and groom then come together, and pour sand from separate vials into one unity vial, reflecting they are no more separate individuals but think and behave as one. The single vial is usually kept as a wedding keepsake by the newlywed couple.

Children too, can be included in this sand unity ceremony and children are made to collect sand from the bride and groom and add to the unity vial. However, children are allowed to do this, after officiate asks the children to render support and extend love to the newly formed family.

So make sure your wedding ceremony is followed by one of the unity ceremony and there would be no debate that a wedding would be incomplete with unity ceremony.

Wedding Speech Techniques

Witnessing a wedding ceremony is exciting in itself. Celebrating the momentous event is even more anticipated. Besides the heartwarming traditions done by the bride and groom during the celebration, there is the delicious meal shared by the newlyweds and the guests who have witnessed the wedding. But the wedding celebration is not all about the fun activities and food. It is also about the solemnity of wedding speeches, which are prepared by special people important to their lives to welcome them into the amazing union they have both willingly entered together.

Who Gives Wedding Speeches?

The time for giving wedding speeches is an intimate moment shared by the bride, groom, families, friends, and guests. The bride and groom specifically choose who will be giving the wedding speeches. The honor of giving the wedding speeches is usually given only to those really close to the couple. These usually include the parents, maid of honor and best man. There really is no standard to be followed as to how the speeches will be given. But as a general unwritten rule, the father of the bride goes first. After her father, her mother may follow then the parents of the groom. Subsequently, the best man would deliver his speech and toast followed by the maid of honor. Special friends not notified to make a speech are most likely welcome to give one if they wanted to.

Preparing Your Wedding Speech

Wedding speeches should not be a challenge for anyone assigned to deliver one. It can even take less than a minute. Avoid making wedding speeches that are more than three to five minutes in length. You would not want to bore the newlyweds and the guests with all your incessant talking. It should be short but simple and remarkable.

Wedding speeches should be heartfelt messages or advices. You can insert a few jokes or unforgettable experiences with the bride or groom, but wedding speeches should never make the couple or the guests present uncomfortable. Of course, it should be respectful and in honor of the bride and groom.

Practice makes perfect as well. If you should ever be faced with the task of delivering a wedding speech, it will not hurt you to prepare as much as you can. You could list a number of all the things you want to say in the delivery of the wedding speech. Later on, you can narrow it down to the most essential and interesting things only. Making an outline and drafting it first before making the final wedding speech is very helpful.

If you are shy in making speeches in front of people, it will help if you practice in front of a mirror as frequently as you can. It would also help if you ask someone to help you out by pretending to be an audience at the wedding reception.

But the most important thing in making wedding speeches is that it should be sincere and interesting. It should show how much you care for the couple. The bride and groom will definitely appreciate genuine speeches than speeches taken from books, magazines and the Internet.

Wedding Flowers

Flowers can go anywhere. Wedding flowers are important to every ceremony. Creating a romantic and comfortable setting for your wedding guests is as important as your wedding vows. In the first stages of planning a wedding you may not know where you need flowers. In most weddings they use wedding flowers as a large part of their decoration plan. Weddings are expensive. If you are looking for a way to cut your expenses you may want to consider the flowers.

To keep the cost down use flowers that are available locally and keep things simple but elegant. Use flowers that are in season. Having and keeping to a budget is very important. Plan at least 6 months ahead so things can go smoothly. Be frank with your florist and focus on what flowers are most important to you first. A bride can have the bouquet of her dreams without paying too much for it by choosing flowers that are in season.

There are ways to cut back even if you want to have the wedding flowers provided by a rather expensive florist. If you want flowers that are uniquely created by a pricey florist but still need to shave a little from the floral budget you can consider a ordering fewer flowers and/or flower arrangements. You can also consider flowers from your local grocery store floral department. Many stores have excellent floral arrangers and they will work with you to create a beautiful floral design.

Carrying flowers by the bride is not something new. It is actually an old custom. The bride carries flowers to keep the evil spirits away from the wedding celebration. Have you considered how many different kinds of flowers there are? There are hundreds of beautiful blooms that are available to create the romantic elegance your wedding deserves.

Your wedding flower bouquet can be created so that is not only beautiful to the eye but also meaningful to the heart. The best way to get the right flowers is to choose the right florist. One of the best ways to find a good florist is by word of mouth. So ask around.

Beautiful fresh wedding flowers underline the importance and elegance of your wedding day. They enhance any setting. They can literally transform an average looking room into a beautiful, romantic scene. If you have planned well your wedding flowers will be exactly what you want. With the perfect flowers you will be free to focus on what your wedding day is all about.

Vintage Theme Wedding Flowers

A popular theme for weddings at the moment is vintage. With so many of us feeling the effect of the 'credit crunch' having a vintage theme wedding can be both stylish and a great money saver. Here are some ideas for wedding flowers and decorations that will suit this theme.

The most popular vintage wedding flower colors are lilac, white and pale pink. This can give a lovely subtle tone to your decorations. Good choices of flowers include hydrangeas, lisianthus, roses, stocks and freesias. These can be used on their own or in combination with each other.

Flowers that you should avoid include anything with bright colors such as orange and red. Although I love tropical heliconia and strelitzia, they just don't fit in with a vintage wedding theme.

To get an authentic vintage look to your arrangements, think carefully about the containers that they are going to be placed in. You can get miniature urns that are ideal for putting reception centerpieces in. You can also buy 'distressed' containers that have an English country garden look to them.

There has been a growing trend recently to have a birdcage as a centerpiece. This can then be decorated around the outside with flowers. The inside can also be filled with roses or rose petals.

If you want to have a more romantic feel to your reception, you could opt for antique candelabras or candleholders. These can give a wonderful light and atmosphere to the evening. One of the advantages of having a vintage wedding is that if all the containers don't match - it doesn't really matter.

Vintage bridal bouquets should have a natural look to them. Posy styles are popular amongst brides with this theme. You could also spend some time looking through vintage photographs of brides, to get ideas on what styles of bouquet used to be used.

Once you have decided on your flowers you can finish the wedding decorations with items that coordinate with the colors. For instance you can make some handmade bunting or reception table runners. These can make the ideal finishing touch to a vintage wedding and they're not expensive.

Nautical Wedding Invitations

Nautical wedding invitations appeal to many young girls who anticipate having a beach wedding. Nautical wedding invitations can be formal or informal. Still, even if you plan a relatively informal beach wedding you do not want to use what a sailor might describe as a "fly-by-night" invitation adviser.

A number of online merchants offer nautical wedding invitations. The information on any website can tell a future bride whether she should study the information carefully, or whether she should "give a wide berth" to that particular website.

I would encourage a future bride to visit http://shellweddinginvitations.net. They have both white and colored invitations. They also have invitations with a nautical scent. They have chosen scents associated with tropical environments, scents such as lavender, sage and ginger.

Even a sailor knows that a bride does not want things to be "touch and go" during her wedding and reception. She wants her invitation to show the thought that she has put into her wedding. When a future bride loves the sea, she has reason to favor a nautical invitation.

So how does a future bride go about finding a reputable source for her nautical wedding invitations? She most certainly can not rely on the general "scuttlebutt." She needs information from a more trustworthy adviser.

Unlike a sailor, a future bride does not use a telescope to get a better view of objects. She can view many sample invitations by going online. She might want to take a look at what is on http://www.invitationsbykarina.com. Karina offers invitations that have pictures of seashells, starfish, dolphins, boats, palm trees and of course water.

Nautical wedding invitations are not just for beach weddings. They are also the proper invitation for a cruise wedding. I am sure my mother would be amazed at what cruise lines offer today.

My mother and father went on a cruise after they were married. Today many brides take their vows while on a cruise. The wedding is usually part of the cruise package. The nautical wedding invitations are included in that package.

A bride who wants to learn more about cruise weddings should go to http://www.wedding-invitations-n-online.com. The information on that website describes a cruise package that is offered by Holland America Cruise Lines. A future bride should take a look at that website before she decides to put "three sheets to the wind" and to proceed unguided with selecting her nautical wedding invitations.

Men's Diamond Wedding Bands - How to Get That Contemporary Look

A gold band with a diamond expresses your love for your man. You can get men's wedding bands in 14- or 18-karat white and yellow gold, and in PT950 platinum. Men used to prefer a simple band, but these days they want a diamond. Men are no more interested in the traditional wedding bands. Mixing modern creations of diamond with precious metal makes the fashion right now adequately stylish for lasting your whole life.

Wedding rings for men are also displaying changing taste in people.

If you are getting your lady a band, you do not have to stick with just diamonds. This is something that has come to be adopted as far as weddings bands for men. The grooms opt to vesture a wedding band which appears as a copulate to the one that is taken for the bride. This makes for the long endurance of classic wedding memories.

Just because men's diamond wedding bands aren't quite as elaborate as those for women, you can still find a vast assortment of classy and beautiful men's bands from which to choose. Add a personal, charming touch by engraving names, initials, or loving words on them.

The type of metal and the gems you want to attach to, can be chosen by you. With so many choices it will be hard to make a decision. Getting the ring you want is important so make sure you choose the width, thickness and even the diamond attachment you want because this ring will last forever.

Tastes are changing all over the world. We can't seem to get earlier renditions of the more contemporary rings which, in any event, don't seem to fit the bill when compared with designer rings. You can find designer rings that will match the ring you are buying for you significant other.

It is of the utmost importance, however, that you choose a ring that properly reflects your lifestyle and is in tune with your comfort level also.

Remember that you'll probably be wearing this ring for the rest of your life, so choose one that reflects and enhances the personality and lifestyle of the man you are and want to be.

Pink Wedding Favors

Come on! There is no shame in admitting that you have always loved Barbie and her pink painted town. In fact, many of us are girly at heart and would love to have our wedding the same fairytale-like, romantic way we have dreamt of as little girls. If you are thinking of a pink themed wedding then you are definitely in for a very feminine and fun wedding ceremony and reception. Of course, you'll want your guests to remember your wedding by pink wedding favors.

With pink weddings gaining so much popularity, there is also a demand to coordinate this color as an extension of the personalities of the bride and groom. Different tones of pink speak on totally different ranges and when it is combined with different colors that form popular combinations for pink weddings, you have each combination saying something entirely different. For example, a hot pink and rhinestone wedding would say Material Girl whereas pink, teamed with pink and white, make a statement that is demure. So, we will be looking at the different combinations with pink and decide on the wedding favors that go with the right shade of pink.

Pink and Black

The boldest of the pack. When you think of this combination, you think of deco dots on a light pink background or even pinstripes, if you intend a 40's retro wedding theme. The cutest black and pink wedding favors are those little boxes that would be perfect to hold little gifts (pink and black licorice candy?) in pink and tied up with a glossy black ribbon with black toile toppers.

Pink and Green

If you want a lovely Victorian floral wedding or a spring time preppy event, this is the best. Consider spring wedding favors that are made of pink flowers and pale green stems and tied up in soft transparent tissue. Beeswax candles shaped like candles in this blend or even little seed packets with pink bows work well.

Pink and Chocolate Brown

This is the wedding palette that is hip today and screams sass. Consider giving your guests yummy personalized chocolates topped with pink cream or with pink filling and lettering. Also a good choice is to have pink roses half dipped in chocolate and packaged into transparent wraps. Itty-bitty handbags in pink and brown stripes that hold personalized cards for your guests and stationery that say shabby chic will really perk up your wedding.

Pink on Pink

If you want to go all out pink, you have many choices open to you. Pink gel candles look really sweet and you can package everything with pink satin bows, garnish with pink roses and peonies and also have pink heart shaped candies and pink makeup kits for your bridesmaids too. You can easily adapt this for pink and white weddings or even balance out a shimmering light pink with a glint of metallic silver. Pink bath salts in white organza bags and even little pink rose candy or lollipops in bright pink with silver sprinkles will be perfect.

Finally, many online wedding vendors offer 'Personality' wedding favor packaging. So, regardless of what type favors you select, you have many pink packaging combinations to choose from - at no additional cost! So, get whimsy and girly with your pink wedding favors. You will be glad you did!

Wedding Themes - Motorcycle Wedding Day

Are you and your soon to be just not the type that want to have a full blown traditional wedding that goes just like the flow of every aspect of every other wedding? Love to shoot pool, play poker, drink beer, and ride motorcycles? Then you're in luck because that's what David and Jenny like to do too and incorporated that love into their wedding planning.

David (28) and his now wife, Jenny, (27) met four years ago at a bar and got married just last month. Their wedding was anything but traditional, but Jenny says she wouldn't have had it any other way- their wedding was perfect for them, their friends, and even their families. This couple was fixed up in biker heaven, and that's exactly what they wanted to show, so they had a biker wedding.

Let's paint a picture of their wedding. Guests flood into the small chapel wearing their best, some of the men and women in lovely leather jackets while the rest of them were in more formal attire, still others are in gowns and suits. The seats are decorated with red bows on the outer sides, the seats themselves white with pillows on them. Between the rows, a dark red carpet is rolled out, good enough for any princess to walk down- though instead of rose petals of white and red, there are small cut outs of spades, hearts, clubs, and diamonds of black and red.

There at the end of the red carpet was our groom, David, waiting for his bride to walk down the aisle. Wearing regular tux slacks, with a button up top, and a black leather vest over it; his hair slicked back and tie tucked inside the leather vest. Soon, Jenny walks down the aisle with her father by her side. Her father has chosen to wear a tux while she's wearing a knee high wedding dress and heels. In her hands is a bouquet with red roses and her face hidden by a small veil. Their vows are exchanged and their first kiss as a married couple is given and the two walk out of the chapel, with their guests following. David and Jenny put on their helmets (a white one saying 'BRIDE' on the back and a black one saying 'GROOM' on the back) and jump on David's motorcycle to meet the guests at a bar they rented out for the rest of the evening.

What would normally be a regular pool bar is done in beautiful decorations that keep the wild biker theme alive that David and Jenny both wanted. Our couple enters with the guests already celebrating, cheering and clapping congratulations for the two. The tables are covered with black table clothes, on them are poker wedding party favors place card holders saying the name of each guest on a playing card. Bottles of beer are covered by Bride and Groom Bottle Koozies, the family and friends of the bride get one with a wedding dress, and those who are family and friends of the groom get one with a tux. The night is spent having a good time with friends and family like a wedding party should be. Though once the night is done, the bride and groom get on their motorcycle and take off to escape to their honeymoon.

Wedding Reception Flower Arrangements

Wedding reception flower arrangements are creative extensions of your theme and color palette. While the flower arrangements can provide a focal point for your reception or be a simple statement, they are a great opportunity to be creative and original. Gathering some ideas about the style, types of flowers and design can be helpful to consider prior to heading to your floral designer.

What Flower Arrangements

During the planning stages of your floral design, there are several additional arrangements that should be considered. Along with your floral designer, you should consider creating a floral arrangement for the cake table, head table, guest sign in table, seating arrangement card table and potentially the gift table as well as table centerpieces. The design of the reception location may also warrant additional arrangements, such as the entry to the reception area, around the dance floor or along a buffet table.

Flower arrangements originally created for the wedding service can potentially be re-used for the reception. However, you will want to verify ahead of time the expectations of your wedding service locations. Many churches anticipate that the flowers will remain for weekend services so be sure to check ahead of time.

Creative Reception Flower Arrangements

The focus of the floral design for a wedding traditionally revolves around bouquets, boutonnieres and flowers for the wedding site. Wedding reception flower arrangements are a great opportunity to add a personal and customized touch to your reception site by choosing a design that reflects a wedding theme or the personalities of the pride and groom. Wedding reception flower arrangements can set the tone of a reception, adding anything from a romantic ambiance to playful whimsy.

Wedding reception flower arrangements do not necessarily have to be composed of strictly flowers. Floral designers typically have colorful accents for your arrangements such as artificial fruit coated with shimmering glitter or decorative ornaments that coordinate with your color palette. Candles are another option for your flower arrangements.

The use of baskets, vases, bowls and decorative containers are all additional required selections during the floral design process of wedding planning. Floral designers also typically have a wide range of stands and structural components to create wedding reception flower arrangements. It will be important to consider whether you want an arrangement that is raised off the table to allow guests to easily see and speak with each other, one that is low to the table or one that is entirely artistic as well as large enough to be a focal point for the room.

Using Artificial or Real Flowers

These days it is often difficult to tell whether a flower is silk or natural. For brides interested in creating the majority of their arrangements, artificial flowers provide the opportunity to create wedding reception flower arrangements ahead of time. While a very efficient and crafty bride may be able to pull off creating the arrangements with live flowers prior to the event date, it would be far more difficult and consuming during a time that should be spent celebrating.

Wedding reception flower arrangements provide a great opportunity to show some creativity and personality. The ability to set the tone for a reception with unique and beautiful arrangements should not be overlooked during the planning process. Designing unique flower arrangements will create a memorable evening for you as well as your guests.

Wedding Planning Ideas - Choosing Wedding Rings and Wedding Jewelry

What better way to make a bride feel like a princess then to cover her in sparking stones? Does your wedding dream include you marching down the aisle catching every beam of light in a glittering masterpiece? It's okay you're not alone, and it doesn't have to break you bank to get that dream.

The first jewelry you should look into purchasing though is the wedding bands. There are a lot of styles and metals to choose from, so this may be a bit of a difficult decision. Think about what you like, what you can afford, and what really works for you, as a couple. You could go with a simple classic, the gold band, which may seem plain but it is what it represents more then what it is. Still if you and your partner at into a bit more flare you can choose from a range of precious metals, like white gold, gold, and platinum! Platinum has really taken off lately and it seems to be one of the more desired metals for jewelry.

The bride will most likely want a piece of jewelry for every area that can hold it. So get ready for earring, bracelet, necklace, and tiara shopping extravaganza! But what about you budget, don't worry; bridal jewelry is crafted in precious stones as well as crystal, rhinestone, and glass. Consult a professional to decide which alternative will give you the look you want and the flare you expect. Also faux pearls are a big hit with the cost conscience that also want to add a bit of elegance to their occasion.

Here are some things to think about when purchasing your bridal jewelry:

1. Rhinestone pre-made pieces can save you a bundle and are just as beautiful as diamonds and sapphires are.

2. Tiaras do not have to be embellished with stones; you can have the cut to shimmer all on their own.

3. You can also have your tiara special made for a monetary price, but it will be uniquely yours and made just the way you have always dreamed.

4. Give thought to nerves when purchasing jewelry, so of us swell a little when we are nervous.

5. Never underestimate the beauty of a classic piece, like a simple pearl necklace with matching tear drop earrings and a set of hear pins or a head piece.

What is most important it what you want, and what your budget will allow, consult a jeweler, most of them are very happy to give advice and show you your options.
